ABOUT NEWTON MEARNS FC
Newton Mearns FC is an amateur football club built around three simple principles: Football. Community. Pride.
Founded in 2026, the club was created to provide competitive, well-organised football in Newton Mearns and the surrounding area, while building something the local community can genuinely get behind.
On the pitch, our aim is to compete, develop and represent the club with pride. Off it, we want NMFC to be run with ambition, professionalism and strong links to the people and businesses around us.
FOOTBALL. COMMUNITY. PRIDE.

OUR STORY
Newton Mearns FC was founded in 2026 with the aim of creating a club that could compete seriously while still feeling rooted in its local community.
From our first training sessions and fixtures to building partnerships with local businesses, NMFC is being developed from the ground up with a clear identity and long-term ambition. We’re at the beginning of our story — and we want players, supporters, sponsors and the wider community to be part of what comes next.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to build a competitive and sustainable football club that players are proud to represent and supporters are proud to follow.
We want to create a positive environment for our squad, maintain professional standards off the pitch, grow our presence within Newton Mearns and establish NMFC as a respected part of the local football community.
